How to Use Impression / Texture Mats
To use with Fondant:
Place the smooth, flat side of your fondant on to the surface of the mat.
From the middle of your mat begin to roll out one side of the fondant, then the other.
It's important that you don't roll over the same area twice.
Lift the mat with the fondant on and turn over onto the surface of your prepared cake.
When in place gently peel back the texture sheet from the fondant.
To use with Buttercream:
Ice cake with buttercream and allow to set for several minutes.
Place sheet on crusted buttercream and impress design.
To use with Chocolate:
Spread melted candy coating or melted and tempered chocolate and form sheet around cake. Place in refrigerator to set.

How to use Cupcake Moulds - by Karen Davies
1. Spread a little apricot jam or buttercream on top of cake.
2. Dust mould with cornflour, turn over and tap out excess.
3. Knead approximately 30g of modelling paste into a smooth ball.
4. Press into mould firmly in the centre to get the fine detail and then press out to edges of mould.
5. Turn over and flex slightly to remove.
Place icing on top of cup cake.
Rub dust colours into brushes on kitchen paper so there is no loose powder.
Colour as required.
If a sparkle effect is required ONLY USE EDIBLE GLITTER SUCH AS MAGIC SPARKLES.
To test if a glitter is made from edible products, try dissolving in warm water.
If it doesn’t dissolve it is non-toxic so should be removed before eating – therefore not suitable for cup cake decorating.

About The Moulds
The moulds are made from high quality silicone and will not rip or tear under normal use.
Before using, wash in warm, soapy water.
To dry quickly for re-use, use kitchen paper.
Every mould includes full instructions giving the size of the piece of paste to use in grams and which colours to use to finish.
Using the Moulds
Dust liberally with cornflour, shake, then turn over and tap out excess.
Check the size piece of paste you will need on the instruction sheet with the mould.
Roll into a smooth ball then flatten slightly into a shape similar to the mould making it easy to push into all areas. Press into the shape.
The paste should be flat and level with the mould and should not be over the edge.
If you have too much paste it can be trimmed with a sharp knife or the PME mould paste trimmer, (if paste moves when doing this you could have double imprints so remove paste and start again). Use a sawing action usually from the centre of the paste to try to avoid lifting it.
When ready to remove, twist mould slightly, turn over and flex.
